Bryan Peery serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Apple REIT Six, Inc. In addition, he also serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Apple REIT Seven, Inc., Apple REIT Eight, Inc. and Apple REIT Nine, Inc. Mr. Peery served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Apple Hospitality Two, Inc. until it was sold to an affiliate of ING Clarion and Apple Hospitality Five, Inc. until it was sold to Inland American Real Estate Trust. Mr. Peery is a Certified Public Accountant and joined the companies at the end of 2003 and has since been a driving force on the Apple team, overseeing financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and forecasting for the Company.

Bryan brings a wealth of accounting and finance experience to his position, previously working for This End Up Furniture Company, Owens & Minor, Inc. and KPMG LLP. At This End Up, Bryan held several positions, Controller (1997-98), Vice President-Finance (1998-2000) and President (2000-03). Prior to his service at This End Up, at Owens & Minor, Inc. he led the internal financial reporting team of this Fortune 500 company for five years. At KPMG for five years, Bryan worked in the audit department of this Big Four accounting firm.

Bryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia. Bryan is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He resides in Richmond, Virginia with his wife and two children.
